A recent lunch visit with friends offered an ideal glimpse into why this eatery continues to be a favorite for locals and visitors alike.

We began our meal with the Golden Fried Prawns (Half) priced at ₹590 and Crispy Prawn Papad, accompanied by a fiery green chutney. The prawns were perfectly golden and crunchy, while the papad offered a delicate crispiness that paired well with the chutney’s sharp heat. To add to the starter experience, we also tried the Prawn Chips (₹200), which were light, airy, and ideal for nibbling while waiting for the main course.

For the main course, we ordered Egg Chicken Noodles (₹250) and Egg Chicken Meinfoo (₹180), complemented by a side of Garlic Chicken (₹200). Each dish showcased careful preparation and balanced flavors: the noodles were springy and well-seasoned, the meinfoo carried a subtle smokiness, and the garlic chicken offered an aromatic, savory punch. Portions were generous, making it perfect for sharing.

Golden Joy’s dining space is clean, comfortable, and casual, with ample seating suitable for both family gatherings and friendly lunches. The service is attentive and prompt, enhancing the overall experience without being intrusive.

For two people, the total bill ranges between ₹1200 to ₹1400, making it a reasonable choice for a satisfying Chinese meal in a prime location.
