Mamata Banerjee, Hon\u2019ble Chief Minister of West Bengal on August7, 2012. It is spread over an area of approx. 5 acres &amp; located in the heart of New Town, Kolkata with facilities including an Auditorium, Art Galleries, Exhibition Halls, Mini Cinema Hall &amp; Music Room. There are also Collages and Dormitories for providing accommodation to resident researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"728\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wikikolkata.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/rabindratirtha.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-160\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wikikolkata.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/rabindratirtha.jpeg 960w, https:\/\/www.wikikolkata.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/rabindratirtha-300x228.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.wikikolkata.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/rabindratirtha-768x582.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">A Digital archive has also been crated on the life and works of Rabindranath Tagore. Some selected songs, recitations of Tagore poems, pictorial biography of Tagore, Children\u2019s section etc. make up the archive at present. \u00a0All cultural functions at Rabindra Tirtha will take place in the auditorium. The Audio system of the auditorium is equipped with the most highly acclaimed audio products.
